Saturday, December 17:
Meet at scout room at 8:45am to go on a hike at Short Springs. Bring lunch and the ten essentials. If you don't know what the ten are, look in your scout handbook or Google "BSA ten essentials". It's on meritbadge.org. Adults on the hike are Mr Coulter and Ms Posaka. 931-409-0628.  There is a sign up sheet for the hike in the scout room. Sign up by this Tuesday December 13.

We will return to the scout room around 1 or 2pm.  Then we will go to Mr Credle's farm for compass work and cooking. Bring your hobo stove and something you'd like to cook. You can get a pot or pan from the scout room. The entrance to Mr Credle's farm is across the street from the Staggerwing museum and down just a few feet. It is before the small bridge. Bear right at the entrance. Dr Steinle can give you better directions 931-409-0951. Also, a map showing the location is available on the Google Calendar entry for this event. Our Google Calendar is on the lower left of this web page. You can be picked up from here when it starts to get dark, about 4:30 or 5pm.  Adults at Mr Credle's are Dr Steinle and Ms Posanka.
